Wyndham

Steeped in history and surrounded by awe-inspiring landscapes, Wyndham is the oldest and northernmost town in Western Australia. Sitting at the meeting point of five mighty rivers, from the lookout it offers sweeping views across the Cambridge Gulf and a true sense of the Kimberley’s rugged remoteness. This frontier town holds stories of pioneers, prospectors, and pearlers, all set against a backdrop of striking escarpments and vast open skies.

Wyndham is our disembarkation point for the Great Rivers – Birds & Wildlife cruise. From here, Kingfisher Tours will escort you on an enriching cultural experience of the region, sharing local history, Indigenous heritage, and spectacular scenery, before relaxing in comfort at The Kimberley Grande Hotel in Kununurra for the night.
